Build self-awareness in your team
A self-aware athlete is an invaluable partner to a coach because they continually provide actionable insight into the coach’s goals and processes. By understanding their own strengths, weaknesses, mental states, and injury risk factors, they illuminate the effectiveness of training plans, allowing coaches to tailor focus on moving the team forward rather that investing time getting players on the same page

A self-aware athlete adds substantial value to a team by aligning personal performance with collective goals and dynamics. The self-aware athlete practically becomes a member of the coaching staff. They communicate openly about their fatigue, motivation, and mental state, allowing teammates and leaders to adjust workloads, roles, and support without conflict.
The Complete Athlete Team Program is about helping every member of your team to become more self-aware.
The Complete Athlete Team Program includes three elements. It begins with the entire team completing an assessment of self-awareness using the performance Triangle Pillars of Physical, Mental, Skill illustrated in the guide The Complete Athlete:A Guide to Peak Performance. Next will be a presentation of the results of the assessment in a manner that provides guidance to the importance of all areas and build value in every participant to build individual skills and align to the team goals. The final step will be to meet with each team member and act as a personal performance coach and design individual programs to strengthen individual weakness and highlight strengths for personal focus.
